Necropolis – OLD TURKISH CEMETERY
Tuesday August 27th, 2013Necropolis in Greek means the City of Dead. This is one of the best preserved commentaries in Turkey with many types of tombs and monuments mostly made of limestone. Family type graves were built depending on the number of the family members; this means the size of the family type grave changes because these graves were made exclusively for each member of the family. Majority of them had several rooms, roofs and windows.
If you are into history, this place is certainly worth visiting. Here are a few snaps by my friend who has just visited this place.
